The Four Wars of Our Lives

We live in a world where war has many faces. There is the war we see around us, but there are other battles as well — for our families, for our hearts, and for the future of our children.

In this sermon, we turn to Malachi 3:13–18 and explore how to remain faithful to God when circumstances cause us to doubt, complain, or lose hope.

The Four Wars of Our Lives:

1️⃣ The External War — real threats, fear, loss, and destruction.

2️⃣ The War for the Family — the battle for marriage, children, and the spiritual atmosphere of our homes.

3️⃣ The Internal War — the battle against fear, love of money, pride, and unfaithfulness.

4️⃣ The War for Our Children — the battle for their hearts, minds, and biblical worldview.

The Book of Malachi shows people who looked at the world around them and wondered why the wicked prosper while faithfulness to God does not always bring immediate reward.

But God reminds us: He sees those who remain faithful to Him.

Even when we lose much, no loss can erase God's love revealed to us through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ at Calvary. Therefore, Christians are called not to live in complaint, but to learn to give thanks to God even in the midst of trials.

God writes a book of remembrance about those who fear the Lord, honor His name, and remain faithful to Him.

📖 Malachi 3:13–18

Whatever battle you are facing today, God calls you to remain faithful. A day will come when the difference between those who serve God and those who do not will become clear.

Do not allow difficulties to change your attitude toward God. Allow God to change your attitude toward difficulties.
