Boldness Under Pressure

This sermon continues the study of the Book of Acts and focuses on chapter 4, where the church first encounters persecution.

Religious leaders are angered by the preaching about the resurrection of Jesus, arrest the apostles, and ask:

“By what power or by what name did you do this?”

Persecution is a natural part of genuine Christian witness. It does not destroy the church but purifies and strengthens it. God gives His people boldness, joy, and fruit even in the midst of the world’s hostility. True faith is revealed not in comfort, but in faithfulness to Christ.
