Charge It To Me
What is true grace? In the Letter to Philemon, the Apostle Paul speaks words that beautifully illustrate the Gospel: “If he has wronged you at all, or owes you anything, charge that to my account” (Philemon 1:18). These words point us to Jesus Christ, who took our debt upon Himself and reconciled us to God.
📖 In this video, you will learn:
• What the Bible teaches about our spiritual debt before God
• Why grace does not deny the truth but opens the way to forgiveness
• How Jesus Christ became our Mediator by taking our sin upon Himself
• What it means to be welcomed into God's family through faith in Christ
• How the Gospel transforms our relationship with God and with others
Main points of the sermon:
1️⃣ Grace tells the truth about our debt.
2️⃣ Grace provides a Mediator who takes our debt upon Himself.
3️⃣ Grace welcomes the debtor as a member of God's family.
The Gospel is the good news that Christ willingly took upon Himself the debt we could never repay. Through His sacrifice, we receive forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and new life as members of God's family.
